9/11 Remembrance, Nassau

Ed Mangano

“Nearly ten Septembers have come and gone, yet time does not diminish the pain and the loss of that day, nor dull the meaning of this tenth anniversary.  On September 7th in Eisenhower Park, we will gather to remember those we lost.  We will read their names in admiration and hold their photos close to our hearts.  We will recall the beauty and meaning of their lives and share the grief of the 349 Nassau County families whose lives were forever changed on that tragic Tuesday morning.  We will once again renew our sense of unity by participating in the commemorative events on the 10th Anniversary of this Attack on America and remember those who were lost.”

Edward J. Mangano
Nassau County Executive
