Rob Calarco earns Suffolk Community College Faculty Endorsement
“The Faculty Association supports candidates who support education, and we are proud to endorse Rob Calarco for County Legislator,” said President Ellen Schuler Mauk. “Our institution serves students of all ages and backgrounds, from people seeking their first degree to workers seeking new skills. We need partners that know how integral we are to training the workforce and Calarco is the candidate in this race we can depend on to work for us in the County Legislature.”
“When elected I will continue fighting for our families and our students and ensure our tax dollars are spent wisely,” said Calarco. “SCCC is vitally important to the training and retraining of our area’s workforce and the institution has to be supported in order to attract new, high-tech jobs to Suffolk in the future.”
The Faculty Association of Suffolk County Community College represents both full and part-time faculty, counselors, librarians, specialists and professional assistants employed at the institution.
Rob Calarco is running an aggressive, grassroots campaign for County Legislator, and, as reported on LIPolitics.com, has also been endorsed by the Long Island Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO, and the New York League of Conservation Voters.
