Today, we release a report that shows we have been polluting this precious resource in a way that has devastated our surface waters - our bays and river corridors - caused negative trends in the quality of our drinking water and left us more vulnerable to future storms, like Sandy.”
“We keep paying higher taxes but yet they cannot balance the budget. It’s another year of deficits and the taxpayers are going to be left paying more taxes for less service. It is time that county government works for us not against us,” said Martin. “Where is the leadership to stop the annual problem of budgetary shortfalls?”
